Chapter 5:New BFF.
Captain Cold POV
The sun was rising in the fogy morning,the sea was calm and i couldn't sleep again,i have a bad feeling for today.As i stay on the ledge of the ship i wait for the crew to wake up.
-Captain!What happen?Jim came at me.
-Nothing..I try to shrug him off not wanting to see me worried.
-I think it is more than nothing.What happen?
-*Sigh*I have this bad feeling i don't know why.
-Maybe you are to worried that we found finaly the Cursed island.
-It is not cursed.I was born there!There is nothing wrong with it!But there are 95 years from when i first leave it and 17 when i last visited it!I don't know what happen in the meantime!
-Don't be so worried.Think at the good side!The island is full of treasures and wanderful views!And your parents aren't there to school you 'why did you became a pirate'!
-Yeah i guess you are.....
*Crash*
-Grrr what now?!Who is there?!
- Sorry Captain but i tripped on some....EW!!It was Raphael.Steven that is so disgusting!
I go to see what was so 'disgusting' when Jim start to be nauseous,it was a disembodied human arm....
-This isn't disgusting.....you didn't see him eat a human.And that isn't Steven's snack he would eat it hole!I said.
-What is not mine Ohhhh!A snack!He said picking the arm and sniff it.And it is fresh too!
-Wait fresh?I ask curious
He eats it in one gulp causing Jim and Raphael to go and puke.
-Yes so fresh that you can say someone was murdered now 10 minutes?
-This isn't a good sign...
-Perytons?
-Yes.And i think we will need to prepare ourselv's.
After breakfast when the sun has full rise,i told my crew that we will reach land soon and that we may encounter Perytons their reaction wasn't such a nice one.....I retreat in my room to work,there was just one quiet hour when Mark and Freddy came in my room.
-Captain you sayed that the Perytons won't come back on the island!Mark started panicked.
-And we can't fight all of them off!You remember the last time we encounter them?
-Stop it already!Are you scared by some puny little birds!?
-Little birds?!Mark asked.They are 1,60 meters.deer head with antlers that can rip you apart,human eating monsters!
-Yes and we have their mortal enemy!A raucous basilisk named Steven so shut up and let me work!Come on out with you untill i lose my patience and i transform in my snake form and strangle you both!
-Aye Captain Cold.Both said sad and walk out of the room.
After couple of hours rwitin and reading in my books i heard one of my favorite sounds...
-LAND HO!!!
-Finnaly.I said and walk on the deck.All the crew were busy with preparing the ship for docking the ship.Even Tim helped them out with a big smile on his face.Jim was yelling orders to the crew.
-Captain!One of the men came at me.We are prepared for docking!
-Yes good,prepare the boats!
On the island was early quiet,no birds,no animals,no feathered snake, no.....people.
We enter in my village,there were no soul or humans.As i reach at my house i became anxious,as i enter there were no trace that sombody lived here,but a note was left on the desk:
"Dear Cold
We are sorry for not informing you about or fast leaving.We were expecting you and your crew but a dragon has settled in the mountain and we heard that several villages were destroyed,we suspect the dragon did it.We are safe and no one dyed.But if you read this please get out from the island!
     With love,your parents."
I was numb, the hole island has left because of a dragon?I needed to see him,and maybe slay it if the rumors are true about destroying villages.
-People!We are going to a dragon hunting trip so take your weapons,and lets go!
-AYE!!All of the crew screamed in pure extasy.
-D-dragon h-hunting?
-Tim,it is okay we are not going to kill him from the begining we are gonna reason with him first.And if he dosen't want we are going to kill him!
-O-oh ok...
As we climbed the mountain we reached the only cave on the island.There were a weird smell like lilac flowers,this flowers dosen't grow in this parts.We entered the cave, the light of our torches and lamps helped us to see in the pitch darkness,me and Steven was in front of us,we could see way better in the dark than the rest of the crew.After half an hour we reached a deep crevice and weird enough there were some stairs carved in the rock and at the bottom there was light,when we reached the bottom we were in aw it was like a small paradise.Some weird crystals gave that strange yellow and white glow,the floor was covered in grass and lilac flowers!A Waterfall was there too with a small lake.As we were in awe we didn't noticed the purple spores around some black silouette that stayed in the shadows,it rised and yawened we could see that it was a mid aged dragon with black skin, purple gills, tongue,etes and nostrills ,even inside the mouth was purple!With white teeth and grey long claws and bird wings with purple and grey feathers,it had grey bony pads from the horn on his snout till the tip of the tail,it had slim long body with a tail that ended in some black fur!And he was engulfed in a thin purple mist and spores like an Enderman.
-Who is there?Say a smooth, booming voice.Who waked me up?
-It was me,i am Captain Cold  of the "Peryton slayers" crew from "The Flying Dutchman",we came to speak with the dragon that settled here!
The dragon has rise from his crouching position and exited the dark corner with steady but havy steps.
-Why did you came here Captain Cold?
-I want to ask you some questions.
-Hmm,a little creature like you?Fine speak.
-Did you destroyed the villages beside the beach?
-It wasn't me,there were the Peytons who settled there before i came here.
-The Perytons?!Said Jim.
-Yes mortal very deadly creatures.
-Excuse me if i am rude but we aren't mortals,we are cursed and we take pride in it!
-I am sorry,and let me introduce myself.I am Kevin the Ender Dragon i came from the American continent,more precise the Appalachian Mountains.
-So you are a yankee?
-Yes,and you seem that you are from this island,and who is the ghost and that Basilisk hmm?
-Yes i am from this island and the ghost is Tim and the Basilisk is Steven.
-H-hi...Tim stuttered.
-Grrr.
-Excuse Steven he isn't to sociable.
-It remainds me of some one,well as i see you aren't a danger you can stay...
-Wait do you know where the villagers had fled?
-On an island North from here why?
-I will rwite a letter for my parents that is all.Well crew the harpooners,Jim,Tim,Steven and me will remain here the rest are dismissed!
-Aye captain.
We atayed there for two hours making ourself friends and drink booze,Tim was the happiest of them all.He was a good drinking buddy,and he was an awesome creature too.
-So you say that there are more dragons in the mountains?Tim asked realy curious,in the same time he made a necklace for Kevin.
-Yes we like high altitudes and we are not scared of anything and anyone!But why do you make that necklace?It is big for you.Kevin added.
-I made it for you sily!To remember me and the others!They gave me the materials.
-You are prety talented for a ghost boy like you!
-*blushes*Well i had some girlfriends and i gave them handmade gifts and jewels....Tim added shyly.
-Oh well it is nice!What is that tooth?
-It is a whaler-snatcher one very hard to get!I sayed a little proud.
-Whaler.....Oh the sea bests i get it.You slayed one of those beasts?
-Yes now loong ago.When Steven was half as me!
-Hmmm so you are a though chalanger?
-Not just me but the hole crew.But what is with that fluff at your tail it is black or purple?
-Oh!That is my scorpion stinger, the fluff is black and the needle is purple,it is for a surprise attack!Say Kevin proud.
-Like Steven!I taked his tail and show him the red stinger between his feathers.
-And the mist?Tim asked.
-It is made by my body,i can't shoot fire all the time so when i want i can spit this toxic fummes,but the mist or the spores aren't toxic.
-Venom,fire AND toxic fumes and you can breathe in water and land and fly?You are so badass!
-Yeah you can say and i have though bony bads and skin.
-And you have a nice cave too!How did you made those flowers to grow?
-Well i know some spells and my spores help the land to recover,the crystals arefrom my homeland.
-It is done!Sayed Tim rising the necklace.Here let me put it.He climbed his back and put it.So?Do you like it?
-Yes it is a nice gift thank you.
-So that means we are friends?I asked.
-Yes!Yes we are.
Tim hugged his big neck.
-I am glad you like it!He added happily.
-We should go,we will be back tomorrow or you can come on the beach to see our ship?
-I think i will come.
-And here something for you little Tim.Kevin sayed as he gave him a glowing white crystal silver necklace.
We made our temporary goodbyes and haded for the exit.I send a letter to my parents about Kevin and the destroyed villages and headed to sleep.
